Details

For over 20 years, WITec has been committed to the development of novel instrumentation and correlative microscopic techniques. Inspired by a deep-held desire to improve science, technology, and engineering, WITec introduced a modular confocal Raman instrument.

In this talk, WITec experts will present an overview of confocal Raman spectroscopy and imaging and provide a platform for understanding how and why this technique is an indispensable tool for the analysis of chemical species and their spatial distribution, either on surfaces or in small 3D volumes. New product developments and applications ranging from 2D materials to biological sensing will be discussed in detail. By combining photoluminescence, fluorescence and Raman in one instrument, a detailed understanding of the intricate structure and chemical relationships at the nanoscale can be explored and correlated. By integrating these capabilities with other scanning probe techniques, WITec hopes to continue supporting the human quest for scientific discovery and knowledge at MIT.nano.
