We are pleased to offers tours to faculty and their research teams; staff from MIT departments, centers, and offices; alumni clubs; and outside groups including corporations and industrial visitors interested in nanoscale discovery and innovation.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer tours to individuals, families visiting MIT, or tourists. You are welcome to visit our exterior spaces and learn more about MIT.nano from this points of interest guide. We also encourage you to visit the MIT Museum in Kendall Square.

As an active research facility with a small staff, we cannot accommodate every tour request. Tours must be requested at least 14 business days in advance.
Tours take one hour and involve 45 minutes walking throughout the building. To request a tour, please complete this form. You will need the following information:
- Your name and the name of your group
- Group size (max 20 individuals)
- Affiliation with MIT, if any
- Preferred date(s) for your visit
- Interest in MIT.nano
- Any other information you'd like us to know in advance of a visit
